Al-Rashideen Islamic Center was established to promote faith, family and community.
To achieve this we created three main initiatives:
Support Initiative 1
Under the support initiative we seek to provide help and guidance to individuals
and families in need of spiritual, social, or economic guidance. We hold weekly sermons to encourage and enrich the congregation’s spirits, job skills workshops, advice on individual and family care, as well as, many more services intended to aid the community in their everyday lives.
Education Initiatives 2
We provide Islamic studies classes for both adults and children, Arabic language classes for adults and children, English as a Second Language (ESL) classes, and various seminars covering a range of topics.
Charitable Initiatives 3
Charity is an important pillar in the Islamic faith and we try to embody that in our mission. As such, we raise funds for families in need as well as conduct food drives to feed the poor and needy. Furthermore during Ramadan, we open our doors to the whole community providing breakfast and dinner every day for the whole month.
